SQA - Higher Dance |
| NEW AND EXCLUSIVE TO DANSCENTRE SQA Intermediate 2 Dance will now be an integral part of all graded class. Available to all S4 pupils and above of approximately Grade 5 examination standard and above, across all our dance genres. We are very excited to be able to offer this nationally recognised qualification as part of our weekly dance curriculum. Students will begin work towards this qualification from S1 onwards. Once entered students will see their qualification listed in their end of year SQA exam report from S4 along with their other academic subjects. |
Danscentre is now an approved centre with the Scottish Qualifications Authority and is fully accredited to offer the Higher Dance Qualification. Karen Berry and Michelle Whyte have also been invited to join SQA as Visiting Assessors for Higher Dance and will begin examining at centres across Scotland in April 2010. Entry is by audition and candidates must have had at least four years previous dance experience. Dance styles studies include Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Choreography and HIghland. |
