SQA - Higher Dance
Danscentre is now an approved centre with the Scottish Qualifications Authority and is fully accredited to offer the Higher Dance Qualification. Entry is by audition and candidates must have had at least four years previous dance experience. Dance styles studies include Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Choreography and HIghland. Dance in Schools
Danscentre can provide taster days or blocks of dance workshops for pupils in schools throughout teh Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire area. Dance styles for the workshops include Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Tap or Creative. The requirements of each group is discussed with the tutor to ensure that the schedule of classes meets their particular needs.

Sports Leaders
Danscentre is also an approved centre with Sports Leaders UK and is accredited to teach the Award in Dance Leadership. This award is an ideal starting point for people from 14 years who wish to develop their leadership skills engaging others in enjoyable dance experience. Disco Divas/Dudes
Dance parties are available for children aged between 4 and 12. Run by two party leaders, the children play games and learn an up to date jazz routine that ‘stars’ the birthday girl or boy. Party food can be served if so desired. Bookings are available for Friday and Saturday afternoons.
Summer School
Danscentre offers a week long summer school during the summer holidays. Information is given out in the spring news letter.
Studios available for hire
Danscentre has three dedicated spaces available for hire for private functions or rehearsal subject to availability . Contact administration for current rates.
