Staff Updates

We are delighted to pass on our exciting news that Jillian Louis is now our Operations Manager at Danscentre. We are also thrilled to be welcoming Rosie Mackley and Heather Nisbet to the DC Teaching Team this year!

Rosie grew up in Aberdeen and danced at Academy Street Dance Studio before moving to Danscentre for pre-vocational training. Rosie when on to study at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on their BA Modern Ballet degree in partnership with Scottish Ballet, receiving the prize upon graduation for best all round student. Rosie has recently been selected to choreograph a work on the residential performance company with the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain. Rosie works in Aberdeen and across the UK as a teacher, performer, choreographer and producer.

Heather started dancing at the age of 2 at Miss Forrest School of Dance in her home town, Stonehaven. Heather went on to study a dance course at Dance For All Theatre College Edinburgh. In her two years there, Heather trained in numerous genres including ballet, Spanish, modern, contemporary, tap, musical theatre, and commercial.
