SIZING GUIDE

RECOMMENDED SIZING GUIDE

Please note that this is a guideline.  Sizes may vary and we cannot guarantee a perfect fit.

Ballet Shoe Sizes

For leather full sole ballet shoes, it is recommended to purchase the same size as your child’s UK shoe size.

For canvas split sole ballet shoes, it is recommended to typically purchase half a size up from your child's UK shoe size.

Shoes come in 2 width fittings, C and B, B is more suited to a slim foot shape. If you are unsure, please attend the shop/a pop-up shop to try ballet shoes on.

Jazz Shoes

It is recommended to purchase the same size as your child’s UK shoe size.

Tap Shoes

It is recommended to purchase the same size 'Timestep' tap shoe as your child's UK shoe size.

It is recommended to size two sizes up for 'Jazz Tap' tap shoe from your child's UK shoe size.

Dansez Leotards

For ATAP 1 'Frozen' leotard and ATAP 2 & ATAP 3 'Mandala' leotard it is recommended to size one to two sizes up from the average child's size. For example, if a child is age 7-8 then it is recommended to size up to age 9-10 or 11-12. For all other leotards, it is recommended to purchase a child's usual size.

Fit Guidance

These leotards have a compressed feel on the body allowing students to be more aware of their core posture. This regenerated material now matches what is worn by our senior students and provides a neat and second skin fit. We appreciate younger children may feel quite a difference from their previous polycotton leotard and may need some time to get accustomed to the feel and fit. The material won’t stretch in the same way as previously worn leotards: it’s been specifically chosen and designed to feel snug and tight. Children may need help to differentiate between what they feel as a second skin and too small.
