As we head into the final week of term before the summer holidays, we are celebrating our DC students who are leaving to pursue tertiary education and begin their adult lives. All of us here at Danscentre are so proud of these students for what they have achieved and we wish them all the best for their new adventures!
Amy Maclean
Amy began dancing with Danscentre from the age of 4 at Peterculter Village Hall with her first teacher being Miss Summers. Amy has been an integral part of our assisting team and a regular face at shows and exams for the last few years. She is heading to Glasgow University in September to study Law.
Hannah Fraser
Hannah came to our Westhill classes from the age of 4, First taught by Miss Auld and Miss Skene, Hannah has also been a DC assistant for many years and in particular at our Westhill venue for the past couple of years. She will be studying Finance and Accountancy at Glasgow University.
Angus White
From the age of 3 years old, Angus has been dancing at our main Danscentre studios taking classes in all styles offered. Angus has helped with Boys Academy and hip hop classes and will be moving to St Andrews University to study Biochemistry.
Holly Milne
Holly attended Danscentre classes at Craigiebuckler Church Hall since the age of 3 with Miss Summers as her first teacher. Holly has been a great assistant at Craigiebuckler and will be missed! Holly will be studying Primary Education at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh from September.
Aliyah Pike
Aliyah first started dancing at the age of 2.5 years at Danscentre with her first teacher being Miss Whyte. Aliyah has assisted many younger pupil classes this year and is heading off to Herriot Watt University in Edinburgh to study Modern Languages and Translation in French and Spanish.
Louisa Alexander
Louisa started her Danscentre journey at the age of 3 at Craigiebuckler Church Hall with Miss Moir. She will be studying Mathematics and Economics at Glasgow University from September.
Ellie Cochran
From the age of 3 at our Westhill classes, Ellie began dancing with Danscentre with Miss Skene. She will be heading to Glasgow in September to study Social Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Caitlin Rose
Caitlin began dancing at Danscentre from the age of 3 at Kingswells with Miss Calder. Caitlin is hopeful to begin her studies in Immunology and Pharmacology at Aberdeen University.
Anya Forster
Anya started dancing from the age of 4 years old at the 'Esk Academy of Dancing' based in Montrose with Ms Beryl. She then decided to continue her dance journey at Danscentre, taking classes in various styles. Anya hopes to study Social Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Jhanvi Ghotey
Jhanvi started dancing at Danscentre with Miss Whyte as her first teacher at the age of 4 years old. She is hopeful to continue her studies in Science Psychology at Aberdeen University or Heriot
Watt University in Edinburgh.
Nicole Brown
Nicole started dancing with Danscentre at our Craigiebuckler classes with Miss Summers from the age of 4 years old. Nicole has assisted many younger pupil classes over the years and will be moving to Edinburgh in September to study Psychology with Marketing at Heriot Watt University.
Vicenza Thomas
Starting her first dance class with Miss Moir at the age of 3, Vicenza attended Danscentre classes across the various styles we offer. Vicenza has been a class assistant for many years and part of our backstage quick change team many times! Vicenza will be going on to start working as a Decontamination Assistant in Aberdeen.
